There’s something for every palate in the Kearsarge/Lake Sunapee area. You can grab a homemade sub for a day at the beach or be seated for an elegant meal at a restaurant. You can even combine the two by selecting outdoor seating at several local eateries.
FEATURED RESTAURANT
The Blackwater Junction Restaurant in Andover doesn’t look like much from Route 11, but it is definitely worth a stop for breakfast or lunch. The family-owned restaurant offers some really good home cooked meals; we’ve found that you can’t go wrong with any menu selection. Local favorites include the spicy chili with chunks of tomato and green chiles; juicy hamburgers cooked to order with a side of sweet potato fries; and a kid’s menu with grilled cheese, chicken fingers and hot dogs.
